This annual event was created in 1999 by Pet Sitters International, with the goal of celebrating the bond between people and their pets. Pets are known to provide many benefits to their owners, including companionship, stress relief, and even improved physical health. So why not bring them to work and enjoy those benefits all day long? Of course, not every workplace is pet-friendly. But if your office does allow furry (or scaly) friends, there’s no reason not to participate in this fun event. Just be sure to keep your pet well-behaved and clean up any accidents.
